Columinity is free for individual teams; organizational analysis requires a subscription. Peer-reviewed scientific validation credit to Verwijs & Russo (2023).

AgilityInsights is a large, complex enterprise platform primarily focused on selling training, content, and certification programs at scale. The assessment capabilities are extensive, but the platform is built for organizational reporting and transformation consulting — not for enabling a coach or Scrum Master to have a better conversation with their team tomorrow. Measure the Mindset is built primarily for the practitioner in the room, not the enterprise dashboard.

Comparative Agility is the world's largest agility assessment database, and its primary value is benchmarking — helping you understand how your teams compare to the 52,000+ organizations in their dataset. If your question is "how do we rank against other banks?", that's their product. If your question is "what does this team need to work on next, and how do we build a plan around that?", that's ours.

Columinity is genuinely excellent science — peer-reviewed, academically validated, and free for individual teams. Its model tells you what's happening in your team with real rigor. Measure the Mindset takes a different approach: rather than diagnosing the team from the outside, it puts the conversation in the room, lets the team reflect on their own mindset and practices across all three audiences, and builds a coaching plan from what they choose to own. Our science is the practitioner's craft and focus on coaching. The methodology is the book which is integrated with the tool.

Common questions

What counts as a "team"?
A team is any group you run an assessment for — typically 5–12 people. You can run multiple assessment waves for each team within your annual limit.
What's an assessment wave?
One wave covers all three audience sessions — Team, SM/PO, and Leadership — as a single unified instance. We recommend one wave every three months, giving teams time to absorb coaching and apply their learning list before measuring again. The Practitioner tier allows up to 6 waves per team per year.
Can I upgrade mid-year?
Yes. Upgrades are prorated so you only pay the difference for the remainder of your billing period. No need to wait until renewal.
What is Full Set mode?
For SM/PO and Leadership sessions — which are typically small groups — Full Set mode lets the facilitator work through all questions conversationally, logging answers directly rather than running a formal anonymous voting session. It's faster and often more natural for groups of 2-4 people. Both modes are available at all paid tiers.
What's the difference between Free and Practitioner?
Free gives you a complete agile team self-assessment with one team, one wave. Practitioner unlocks up to 3 teams, 6 waves per year, progress reports to track improvement over time, and all 24 Deep Dive chapters from The Practical Agilist Guidebook. If one great session leaves you wanting more, Practitioner is the natural next step.
Does the free tier require a credit card?
No. Start with just an email. If you decide to upgrade, you'll enter payment details at that point.
What is the 360° three-audience assessment?
One assessment instance, three separate sessions — conducted with the team, SM/PO, and leadership independently. Each group answers questions specific to their role. A unified summary report shows all three perspectives side by side.
How does Enterprise pricing work?
Enterprise is priced per coach account per year — $500 for 1–3 coaches, $450 for 4–7, and $400 for 8 or more. When you add coaches that move you into a lower band, everyone's rate drops at next renewal. New coaches added mid-year are prorated to your account anniversary. Sign up directly online — no sales call required.
Is the book included in all paid tiers?
The 24 Deep Dive chapters from The Practical Agilist Guidebook are integrated into all paid tiers as digital content. A physical copy of the book can be added at checkout for $15–20 (based on volume), shipped directly to you.
Can our CoE load its own content instead of the book chapters?
Yes — on the Enterprise tier, administrators can replace or supplement the default Deep Dive docs with your organization's own standards, methodology guides, and point-of-view documents by topic.
